Dr. Mummaneni Recipient of the 2007 Physician of the Year award from St. John's Regional Medical Center Education: Medical School: Osmania University, Hyderabad, India (Graduated 1970)   Training: Ob/Gyn Residency (1977-1980): Cook County Hospital, University of Illinois; Chicago, IL (Chief Resident in Ob/Gyn: 1980) Ob/Gyn Registrar: Republic of Ireland (1971-1973) Pediatrics Residency (1974-1977): Illinois Masonic Medical Center, University of Illinois; Chicago, IL (Chief Resident in Pediatrics: 1977)   Certifications: American Board of Ob/Gyn: Board Certified (1983) Royal College of Physicians (Ireland): Diplomate Ob/Gyn (1973)   Experience: Dr. Mummaneni has been serving the community in private practice serving Ventura County for the past 26 years.  She was one of the first female Ob/Gyn to practice in Ventura County.  She is the most experienced female Ob/Gyn in northern Ventura County.  She takes great care to see Medical issues from a women’s point of view, and she offers compassionate care to women of all ages including teenagers, pregnant women of all ages, menopausal women, and postmenopausal women.   Dr. Mummaneni has expertise in normal and cesarean births, infertility surgery, vaginal reconstruction, hysterectomy, laparoscopic procedures, tubal ligations, and family planning.  She is up to date with the latest procedures in the field of Ob/Gyn.

Dr. Ghiai Recipient of the 2006 Art of Companion award from St. John's Regional Medical Center   Education:  Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles.  Masters of Science in Family Environmental Sciences at California State University, Northridge St. Louis University College of Medicine.  Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program at the University of California, San Francisco, Fresno. OB GYN Board Certified 2004 Training: In her practice, she offers up-to-date medical knowledge, and supportive and comprehensive care.  Patient education is of utmost importance to her and she devotes a great deal of time to it daily.  Each woman’s care is tailored to her specific needs, in order to ensure that she receives adequate information to promote her own health and wellness.
